Covid 19 Updates for Avalon and Stone Harbor NJ

 

 

 

As the 7 Mile Island reopens into the summer season, Tim Kerr Sotheby's International Realty has updated information regarding procedural and operational changes moving forward.

 

UPDATE: 

 

  • Governor Phil Murphy announced that New Jersey will enter ‘Stage Two’ of Restart and Recovery on June 15th. Outdoor dining is permitted and indoor non-essential retail businesses can open starting June 15th.  Hair Salons and Barber shops may reopen starting June 22nd. Youth Summer Programs can begin starting July 6th.

 

 

TO OUR OWNERS:

Please note it is your responsibility to have your property ready for tenant safety and use. Also note the following items represent changes to the lease agreements with your tenants made in accordance with CDC Guidelines and the restrictions currently in place due to public policy.

 

Check-in time has been moved to 3pm. This extended time should allow for your cleaning service to provide a more thorough cleaning reflecting the CDC Guidelines.

 

You should remove all pillows, blankets, and bed covers from all the beds, and store it in a bedroom or utility closet. Also encase all mattresses with a protective covering. All tenants have been advised that they provide their own bedding including comforters and pillows in addition to the sheets, pillowcases, and towels.

 

It is your responsibility to deliver a clean property. Please update your cleaners to new schedules. Please provide your cleaning service with a copy of the CDC Cleaning Guidelines and the recommended list of cleaning products. Instruct your cleaning service to contact us if they are not going to be finished cleaning your property by 3PM. We recognize that these items are in short supply everywhere right now, but if you are able, please provide hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, other sanitizing products and paper products for tenant use.

We recognize that cleaning supplies are in short supply everywhere right now, but if you are able, we advise you to bring hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, other sanitizing products and paper products to use while you enjoy your stay.

 

 

We are in this together. Our exceptional team is dedicated to provide the best customer service. We will assist you and your tenant with any problems that may arise during the summer. Our agents will do everything possible to ensure that all issues are handled as quickly and professionally as possible -- but please understand that there may be some unavoidable delays with service calls due to the constraints of contact restrictions and social distancing.

 

No one other than Tim Kerr Sotheby's International Realty agents and staff will be permitted inside our offices. The check-in process will be the following - we will be providing a curb side pick up/ drop off. Park outside our office, and call to let us know you are out front. We will come outside and drop off check-in packets, information, as well as keys. The tenant will be able to access the rental with minimal social interaction. Please wear a mask, keeping everyone (including our office staff) safe.
